What was Beast TV IPTV?

Beast TV IPTV was one of the best-known IPTV services in North America in the late 2010s. It sold live TV, sports and on-demand content over the internet, mainly to viewers in Canada and the United States, through a large network of resellers. Customers watched it through player apps on Firestick, Android boxes, MAG devices and Smart TVs — the same setup used by almost every IPTV service today.

Why did Beast TV IPTV shut down?

In December 2020 the service announced that it was closing permanently. According to TorrentFreak, the operators’ statement said that US and Canadian authorities had served legal documents on Beast and its service providers, following complaints from major media companies including Disney, Netflix, Bell Media and Warner Bros, and that a court order would seize its domains, servers and client data. The shutdown was attributed to the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), the anti-piracy coalition of the big studios.

The notice left no room for doubt: the service was “gone for good and will not be returning.” It also warned customers directly that anyone claiming Beast had moved or become another service was not telling the truth, and told them not to file chargebacks.

Beast TV IPTV timeline

  • Late 2010s: Beast TV grows into a major IPTV brand in Canada and the US, sold mainly through resellers.
  • December 2020: legal documents are served in the US and Canada; Beast announces it is shutting down permanently.
  • 2023: a lawsuit in the United States targets a former “Top 10” Beast TV reseller who allegedly kept selling Beast-branded subscriptions (reported by TorrentFreak).
  • 2024: a judge in Nova Scotia sentences that reseller to 60 days in jail for contempt of court; the sentence was reported as under appeal.
  • 2026: websites, social posts and listings still advertise “Beast IPTV” — none of them is the original service.

“Beast TV” websites today: why they are clones

Search for Beast IPTV now and you will still find pages promising thousands of channels — one 2026 listing advertises “over 9,000 live channels for $16 a month.” Treat every one of them as a different, unrelated seller using a famous name to attract buyers. The original operators said publicly that the service would not come back under any name, and the people who kept selling Beast-branded packages ended up in court.

Red flags that you are looking at a clone:

  • the site claims to be the “official” or “new” Beast TV;
  • payment only by crypto, gift cards or PayPal Friends & Family (no buyer protection);
  • no company details, or contact only through WhatsApp or Telegram;
  • pressure to buy a long or “lifetime” plan;
  • support that disappears once you have paid.

Former Beast TV customers: what to do

  1. Forget your old login. The servers were seized and the accounts no longer exist.
  2. Do not pay anyone offering to “restore” or “migrate” your Beast account — that offer is exactly what the operators warned about.
  3. Keep your apps and device. IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate and similar players work with any provider; switching only means entering a new Xtream Codes login or M3U link.
  4. Test before committing. Use a short paid trial and watch live sport at peak time before choosing a longer plan.

Beast TV IPTV not working?

If an old Beast TV login or app shows “invalid login”, “authorization failed”, an empty channel list or an endless loading screen, nothing is wrong with your Firestick or internet connection — the service has simply not existed since 2020. Reinstalling the app, clearing the cache or changing DNS will not bring it back. The only fix is a new provider.

Setting up a new service takes about ten minutes: install IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate (see the best IPTV apps for Firestick), choose “Login with Xtream Codes API”, enter the details from your new provider, then add the EPG — our guide to the best EPG for TiviMate shows how.
